Guest guest
, Today is a new day and don't beat yourself up!! Get started today on your new day!!! Journal everything and once you start feeling better this afternoon sit down and relax and try to think what set you off yesterday? Is this a friend that you normally pig out with........I think everyone knows what I am talking about here ) And the theater would be VERY hard for a lot of people just because of the YUMMY smells and what are you suppoes to do at the movies???? EAT!!!! and then go back for a free refill on popcorn!! (atleast that's what they do here). It is really easy to get sucked into the sights and smells of places that we formerly scarffed out at. Good luck today staying OP and drink lots of water. Take care, Moe
Guest guest
The movie theaters are just evil!!! I was perfect yesterday until last night when we decided to go see Bruce Almighty. As soon as we walked in my BF asked if I wanted a drink and the smell hit and I told him I also wanted popcorn. I did get the kid size and did not add butter so it was not that bad. But I was out of points for the day so I will just try and make it up today with some exercise. -- Re: Feeling Quilty , Today is a new day and don't beat yourself up!! Guest guest
Yes it IS a challenge to make changes in how a person eats, etc. I agree 100%. If it were easy, there probably wouldn¹t be any overweight people!! Two slices of pizza won¹t kill you. The butter on your popcorn probably won¹t. (I don¹t know what snowcaps are.) Just take this as a learning experience. Why did you get the popcorn with butter? Did your friend order this too? Maybe peer pressure? Does your friend know you are trying to lose weight? Try storyboarding how you would change this.... If you and your friend decide to go to another movie, how would you change what you ate? Could you sneak in some of your own popcorn? (Orville Reddenbacher¹s Smart Pop?) How about bringing in some Tootsie Rolls for candy? Or a Tootsie Pop or two? The pizza wasn¹t a bad thing, although maybe a side salad and ONE slice of pizza? Or perhaps plan for the movie a little more in advance so you can bank points? I have to say that with my friends and family, going to the movie seems to be a license to eat!! Personally, I am disgusted with the prices of the food at movie theaters. Way too expensive!! I¹d much rather go out to eat before seeing a movie so I am not tempted to scarf on the stuff there. on 6/2/03 8:51 AM, JENNIFER HUNTER at rylinhunter@... wrote: > This changing your outlook on your health and eating thing is really really > hard - why is easier to give up? >

Guest guest
Ugh, that time of month (TOM) just is a bugger, isn¹t it? I crave salty AND sweet. Tootsie Rolls and reduced fat Wheat Thins, to be exact. (And we are not just talking about a serving size of each.) Well, actually, I WAS able to get by with a serving size of the Wheat Thins this last time. I measured out each serving into a snack size zip top bag and brought only ONE bag with me to work each day. Then I just nibbled.... It took me darn near 20 minutes to eat a serving when I could easily have polished off the whole box before! Next month, I am going to buy myself some of the big Tootsie Rolls (the 69 cent size) and allow myself one a day. Guest guest
Hey , I just love those reduced fat Wheat Thins! Yummy! I put my chicken salad on top of them and it is very good for the " salty " fix! Donna Re: Feeling Quilty Ugh, that time of month (TOM) just is a bugger, isn¹t it? I crave salty AND sweet.
