Guest guest
Welcome to Corporate America's way of doing business . . . outsourcing. We have run into this situation with a few groups - Alignetworks, Universal Comp, Heartland . . . apparently some worker's compensation insurance companies have determined it is cost-effective to replace adjusters, case managers, etc. with a company that will call to schedule the patient, follow-up (nearly every day) on the patient's attendance and progress, and cut our fees even more than we've already had to cut them just to be able to provide services to patients we were already getting anyway. These types of " services " are going to hurt facilities with their ability to direct patient care at a bargain rate. PT DPT Edison NJ Re: Three Rivers Provider Network TRPN I just got a fax for a W-9 to be faxed to TRPN, however, in the 2 nd page was an agreement to accept 75% of billed charges. I thought it was very sneaky, however, does this group have any +ve experience with TRPN? or are we going to the same road as MEDRISK? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
