Does anyone have a mental math equation to use at grocery store to help decide

points based on cals, fat and fiber?

I roughly figure 50 calories per point. I think for fiber, you subtract .2 and

for fat you add .1. I've seen a formula somewhere..hopefully someone can share

it. I asked my leader for a second slider, and I keep it in my purse all the

time. I whip it out whenever I need it, and it sure comes in handy.

Hi,

The formula for figuring out points is:

P = (C/50) + (F/12) - (R/5)

where P=points, C=calories, F=fat, R=fiber

hahaha I'm sure glad I carry my WW calculator with me everywhere I

go! I'd NEVER be able to do that in my head! Math dummy, that's

me! But I'm going to write down that formula just in case anyway.

Thanks for posting it Rickie!

Where do I get a WW CALCULATOR. I could do the mental math but I'm afraid, with

as long as it would take me , people would start to complain about the woman in

the bread isle with a frown on her face and a glazed look on her face counting

on her fingers. HAHAHAHAHAha

They have them at meetings or you could probably find one on eBay.

(Although they seem to cost more on eBay.) They are $19.95 at the meetings

here in ND.

They sell them at my meetings (in Florida) and when you get the online

package they are a part of that.
