Guest guest
The whole thing about the government having ways to keep track of us has kept me from signing up to the list of people who don't want to receive sales calls on their cell phones. It's becoming so annoying that I almost succumbed to getting on the list but refrained because of fear that the government would use this handy list, which most people are probably on, to block communication between those who are coordinating group action or those who " whatever " . Does anyone know how to get these people to stop calling without getting on " the list " ? Parashis artpages@... artpagesonline.com
Guest guest
- Given that you're already on a list of cell phone subscribers, I really wouldn't worry about it. - > The whole thing about the government having ways to keep track of us > has kept me from signing up to the list of people who don't want to > receive sales calls on their cell phones. > > It's becoming so annoying that I almost succumbed to getting on the > list but refrained because of fear that the government would use this > handy list, which most people are probably on, to block communication > between those who are coordinating group action or those who > " whatever " . > > Does anyone know how to get these people to stop calling without > getting on " the list " ? Right. If the gov't wants your cell phone number, I don't think you're going to stop them from getting it. In fact, I got a missed call the day the cell phone reg for do not call started, 2 days ago I think, and I didn't know who it was. I hit " call back " and a recording said " We apologize for any inconvenience but by calling this number you have registered yourself on the do not call list. " So the first and only unsolicited call I got on my cell phone was from the do not call registry. So I would guess they already have access to people's phone numbers.
