Guest guest
I went out for a really late lunch today. I hadn't packed my own lunch because I thought we had a lunch meeting (and we've been getting nice healthy wrap sandwiches for those lately!) I went to Au Bon Pain and got what looked like the lowest thing, a salad wrap with feta cheese. I figured the bread and cheese would be high points but it would be mostly lettuce and other good stuff. WRONG! It was mostly marinated red peppers soaking in oil. I looked it up on www.aubonpain.com and by my calculation it is 12 points! OUCH. It was good but I could tell, eating it, that it was too oily. If I ever get it again I am going to ask them to leave the red peppers OUT and substitute some raw veggies. Or maybe it was the spread that was soaked in oil. Days when I pack my own lunch are such better days.... I was right about one thing though, it *was* a lower-point choice! Chicken tarragon sandwich : 20 Mozzarella and tomato: 20 Thai Chicken : 10 Honey Dijon Chicken: 13 Roast Beef and Pepperoncini: 26 !!! The muffins are all 11-13 points too it looks like, the sweet cheese croissant is a measly 8.
