Hi All

- As i said in my last email i have 4.2 in my port, i have found

that as i loose weight i need to add more saline - the band appears to get

looser as the weight comes off. 4.2 will probably be my last fill as i am

now only 2 kilos away from goal weight, i started at 95 kilos and was

banded at the end of october 1999, i am now currently sitting on 57, i just

want the last 2 to disappear - i know they will but its so frustrating

being at nearly at your goal. i also admt my goasl have changed during the

year, my initial goal was 65, 60,58 and now 55, I am sure i will be happy

at 65. I am now a size 10. My husband thinks this is way small enoguh, and

i agree but i have found loosing weight this was addictive - i suppose as

it works, and my min keeps saying well another few wont hurt, but i am

going to leave it at 55 for a while and then see how i feel. the weight

watchers book put my lowest at 54 for hieght etc.

- thanks for posting that news article - when was it in the paer.

the person that inspired me was Angie from the waiting game - did she

inspire anyone else?

Dianna - I am loving the olypic games and was very impressed with the

opening ceremony. I am nost sure about all this talk about it being hosted

in sydney every time, i think it would def loose its interest after a few

years and how could we beat our opening ceremony and cathy freeman lighting

the torich - it was just the best.

The band itself is a total mystery to me as in what it allows and what it

does not. About once a week it lets me eat a resonable sized meal (ie a

restaurant type) and other times i can eat maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a meal. Then

out of the blue i will bring up a cold drink. Wo knows the mind of the

band. I just hate the saliva, its gross and stringy and just yuk - hate it

when i get that. I wouldnt swap my band for anything.

so thats all

take care

hi dianna

pre band i weighed in at 95 kilos - i think the largest i ever was waas

nearly 100 - but did not want to weight myself. I was banded at the end of

october 99, it would be great to get to goal in 12 months. Your weight is

not that far off from my starting weight, so i will be cheering you on all

the way.

life is great - clothes fit, i could never in my wildest dreams imagine

buying size 10 and my jeans are a size 9. I tried a skirt on in portmans,

the 10 was too big and the 8 fitted but too snug - to me this is a dream

come true. My husband is worrying about how much i am now going to spend

on clothes because in reality nothing fits and the clothes i have make me

look silly.

so i wish you all the best and know that with perseverance it can be done.

hope this helps
