These are all from the book " Smoothies " by Corpening Barber if anyone

is interested. It's a good book, has 50 recipes, some of the recipes are

vegan, some have alcohol, not all of them are low in points though.

Each recipe serves two and you will have to figure the points yourself but I

think

most are less than 4 points per serving.

Classic

1 C Orange Juice

1 C Strawberries, hulled and quartered and frozen till firm

2 Bananas, frozen and sliced

Place in blender and blend till smooth.

Dangerously Red

1 C Low-fat Strawberry Yogurt

1/2 C Cranberry Juice

1 1/2 C Strawberries, hulled and quartered and frozen till firm

1 C Raspberries, frozen

Blend till smooth

Bad Boys (love this one)

1 1/2 C Low-fat Boysenberry yogurt

3/4 C Passion fruit sorbet

1 C Boysenberries, frozen

1 C Blueberries, frozen

Blend till smooth and strain through a sieve

Nectarine Nelly

1 1/4 C Orange juice

2 C Nectarines, diced and frozen till firm

1 C Mango, diced and frozen till firm

Blend till smooth

Maple Blue

1 C Low-fat blueberry yogurt

3/4 C Low Fat or Fat Free Milk

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

2 C Blueberries, frozen

Pink Lady (yum!)

1 1/2 C Diced Watermelon

1/2 C Strawberry Sorbet

8 Ice cubes

1 Tbs fresh Lemon Juice

Pinch of salt

Cherry Pop (another really good one)

3/4 C Soda (I use diet cherry coke or diet coke)

2 C Pitted Frozen Cherries

1 C Non-fat Vanilla Frozen Yogurt

1 tsp Fresh Lemon juice

1 tsp Cherry extract ((optional))
