I've been so busy at work these days and I'm behind on the messages I flagged to respond to. Just wanted to check in with you to see how you and your daughter are doing. I know that this is a lot to absorb for you and your family. All of us here understand the feelings of shock and disbelief with a diagnosis of a chronic disease. It is a lot to deal with regarding yourself but to add your children into the equation, I'm sure makes it doubly hard. But, please be encouraged that many of us here have been told that we will be on dialysis within such and such time and for many of us we have out lasted the forecast. I also know that you probably will have many questions, since you didn't feel that your Doctor explained things very well. Please feel free to ask away. I don't normally give the technical information but I will be here in any way that I can to emotionally support you or any member of this group. Keep us posted on you and your family.
