Randall-I have just read your post to the bandsters list and am sitting here

with my jaw dropping. I am really looking forward to meeting the man behind

the message. Being an American myself I can completely relate to what you

are saying and I do feel that maybe took the soap box thing a

little too far, but you cut her down like a rotting gum tree. I have to

admit though I was inwardly cheering to your last statement--that the list

is about the lap-band, not the bible belt--how true, how true!

Esther--you will be at the meeting on April 5th?? Your birthday cake--which

flavour do you prefer--1)white chocolate mud cake (nice moist, light cake

with a hint of white chocolate) or 2) Kahlua fudge cake (light textured cake

(also very moist) with rich chocolate flavour with chocolate chips

throughout) or 3) sour cream white cake (light textured, moist cake with

buttery vanilla flavour)??? It is your birthday, so you choose. I am happy

to make whatever you want--if you have a favorite flavour not listed above,

just let me know. Is 21 candles sufficient or would you prefer 29? Please

let me know. My husband has already been put on call that night so if

anything untoward happens with Gwendolyn--he is handling it! He has been

warned--I will not miss another first bandster meeting.

I hope everyone is having a good week-Gwendolyn (my soon to be 8 year old

daughter) has been home sick from school for 3 days so my schedule has

really been easy. Get up, take care of child, make cakes, respond to

child's whim, make meals, do dishes, decorate cakes, etc.....Pretty

monotonous wouldn't you say? Get me out of this house!!! Strong case of

cabin fever is striking in Greensborough, but the food choices have remained

healthy--so I have something to be excited about. The scale isn't moving

much, but what else is new--I need this meeting--I have to admit incredible

frustration with this band that I hope will be improved with a Melbourne

bandster meeting. Take care everyone and I look forward to meeting the

Melbourne bandsters soon and everyone else at the to-be-announced official

first Australian bandster convention--right??
