If it were me and my home scale seems reliable, I'd just weigh in at home

once a week and not use the TOPS scale until they get it calibrated or

fixed.

Thank you for all the advice, I wish I could go to a WW meeting, can't

afford it.

I just found out that my Dad is in the hospital, he is in ICU. I will,

if I can swing it, be going to So. CA. Then all weigh -ins will be put

on hold until I get home. I am so upset and worried...

I would definitely believe your home scale since your TOPS scale has proven time

and time again to be unreliable. How FRUSTRATING that must be! I weigh-in at

home and also at Curves once a month and lucky for me the scales are almost

identical. Mine is a Tanita body fat scale and theirs is one of the doctor

slidey scales. Sorry for the confusion..

Another confusing weigh-in

Remember last week my weigh-in was really confusing, well since the

scales couldn't make up its mind last week depending on where my feet

were. This week I didn't move at all and the scales said I Gained 5 pounds!

It can not be true, I have been OP all week. Well, when I got home I

weighed in on my scale. It said I lost another 2 pounds! My scale says

I have lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks. Tops scale says 2 pounds.

What to do? What to believe?

Oh .. I hope everything comes out ok with your dad. Will keep him in our

Thank you all for all the incouraging words and prayers!!!. Dad is

still in the ICU, but sounding good.

He has pneuomina and COPD. I am planning on going down there in about 2

weeks, that is as soon as I can get away...

When I do go down there, I will continue to be op and work with WW

online. I will have email down there.

(I have been there so often, I have a computer and will have access to

the internet as soon as I get there.)

So glad your dad is doing well. My dad has COPD too and it is so scary to

me to think something might happen to him and me not be able to get there

fast enough. (he lives in Colorado, and I in Texas). I will be praying for

you and your dad...
