Guest guest
Thanks , that's helpful. Don't think it's for me though....... I'm not honest enough with myself to ever count anything.... that's why I need the band (read surrogate policeman). I've got to be forced to do it by something external to myself. Took me a long time to acknowledge and accept that truth, but I am there now.
Guest guest
Hi My understanding of the points is that the amount you are allowed is related to how much weiht you have to lose. The more weight you have to lose the higher the point value and as you lose the weight the amount decreases. I think at one stage I was allowed 23 points per day. Works on this scale Current Weight Daily Points Women 18+ men 18+ 64kg and under 18 20 65-79kg 20 22 80-94kg 22 24 95-109kg 23 25 110-124kg 24 26 125-139kg 25 27 140kg and over 26 28 " They say at the bottom of the scale that heavier people use up more energy than lighter people and men use up more energy than women. This means that as you lose the weight, you'll have fewer points to spend. " Although it doesn't sound like much, there were many days that I couldn't eat all the food allowed. Hope this helps.
