I just saw that the L3800 HCPCS Code as well as all the additions and

several other splint codes have been dropped for 2008. They were

replaced with codes that even though the splint is custom fabricated

the codes now includes fitting and adjustments. Does this mean that we

can no longer charge for adjustments made to change degree of flexion

or for reduction of edema as the patient progresses in therapy. Can we

still charge for the application of the splint? Thanks for your

responses.
