Guest guest
Hi Sharon, You're right, I do know most of the countries since most of them are our neighbors. And did you notice that Turkey is in between Europe and the Middle East? My father worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and therefore I lived in many different countries with my parents. My father was an attache in the Turkish Embassy when he was in foreign countries. Starting at age 5, I lived in Athens-Greece, Beirut-Lebanon, Jeddah-Saudi Arabia,Washinton DC-USA, Strasbourg-France and then I got married and started to live a stable life in Turkey because I had enough of it. It was difficult, in Athens I went to a French kindergarden and primary school and then we went to Beirut and went to British Community school , in Washinton DC , I went to Stratford Junior High and Washingon Lee High School and so on and on. I saw many different countries, different languages and cultures, so therefore I am a mix of everything!! I guess that was my luck; thanks to my dad, may he rest in peace, he passed away in 1984 at the age of 56. Hugs, NukhetSharon Marsden wrote: A good friend sent me this. I was surprised at how hard it was to get the countries in the right spot but I did get 8 right. I haven't done the Africa part though. I actually forgot about it until just now I got Turkey and the surrounding countries easily thanks to Nukhet! Several days before trying this map I had been looking at a map to see where Nukhet lives. Click and drag the country names to their land masses. Good luck! Let me know how you do. Of course, it won't be a challenge at all for Nukhet. Sharon http://www.rethinkingschools.org/just_fun/games/mapgame.html This email is a natural hand made product.
