We had some sneezing this A.M. so I held the A.M. dose of lauricidin. I can't

afford to let him get sick again. I think if you are not seeing increased mucus

production you could hold at the same dose.

I'm not following you here. What is the bile contaminated with? a virus?

metals? other toxin? If it is a virus, how would it only be in the bile?

Phyllis,

My son is 8,86 lbs and takes 2 full scoops of pellets per day.The first week

he acted like he had the flu.......major die-off!!!!! Then he was alot

better. He is doing great on the monolaurin and Dr. Kabara answers any

questions you have willingly. You should call and speak to him.

I am pretty new to this whole Cholestyramine use and how it works

but I summarized what I read in Shoemaker's book, " Desperation

Medicine " , the way I stated. I believe it is microorganisms from

things like yeast, clostridium, pesticides, ect, that Shoemaker

believes contaminated the bile. I am not sure if this is working but

I started 6 weeks ago using the Cholestyramine and Jack is saying

new words all of the sudden, not much but he did say " car " several

times and never has said car before. He is also saying go on a

regular basis. Great Smokies has information on the use of

Cholestyramine. I am not reaally sure how to dose it. A week on, a

week off. The protocol is used alot w/ patients w/ Lyme's disease.

I am still pretty confused but also excited. I was using activated

charcoal prior to this w/ good results but not this good. I am

still questioning alot of things w/ its use.

I only mentioned it so other people could do their own research and

see if it might help there child. Lynn Knapp on the stealth group

has been helped immensely w/ its use.

How do you all get this stuff into your kids???? Sam doesn;t swallow caps or

pills, was going to try slipping one in a little juice and hoping it will

float down unnoticed - what are my chances of that I wonder. Also sam may have

big

yeast issue right now so I'm thinking this would be a bad time to start or

maybe not?

My son is also 8. Two scoops-wow. that is alot of pellets. My son is

still congested, but better. I am sticking to the 4 pellets a day for

now and will increase by 1 pellet per week? I guess since he is obviously

sensitive. Whatever he had though, he seems to have given to me as my

thought is now sore. I don't have the stuffy nose like he does though.

What changes have you seen in your child?

Hi Mandi,

When my child was 4 yrs old I taught him to put the pill in his mouth take a

drink of water and tilted his head back and told him to swallow. He did it

w/o any problems at all.I have told several moms of autistics to try this

and it worked for all of them. It also opens up a whole new world of

therapeutic supplementing to heal them asap.

Lauricidin can be crushed and sandwiched between two layers of pear

sauce and it is " ok " that way. The stuff tastes soapy so you have to

experiment with it when you crush it. For swallowing the pellets

whole--they taste fine. It's just when it is crushed that it tastes

bad.

If he is having yeast issues right now, this might be an ideal time

to start it because you will probably get some die off and then

improvement in the gut.

I've had my little two year old swallow these by doing the cheek

pocket method and a syringe of liquid to wash it down. She has

bitten it a couple of times, and it tastes bad, but I let her have a

chocolate chip afterwards and she's fine with this. But she's been

able to swallow quite a few of the pills this way and I'm hoping that

she will get the " idea " of swallowing them and not try to chomp on

them anymore.

We've used Lauricidin on-and-off and in varying dosages, for over a year and

have been very happy with it. When my son has had yeast problems, he has

taken as much as 3 scoops (i.e. 3 tsp.) a day. Now, I'm usually giving about

1/2

scoop 2-3x per day. We've never had a big die-off from Lauricidin, but it

definitely has helped with yeast.

I started out witha similar dose and worked up after about a month on

the low dose... we are at almost one scoop, twice a day. It doesn't

seem to matter if I give it on empty or full stomach. I also give

some vitamin C because I figure that it might help with it's

antioxidant effect, but that's just me/my thinking. We did get some

die off even at that low dose... when I finally increased it, there

was maybe a mild die off, barely noticeable, but the next day much

more calm and organized feeling.

I think the only thing I have seen is to give it away from enzymes.

My 60 pounder uses 1.5 scoops a day.

It is important to build up slowly. We started with 3 pellets once a day for

a few days, then built to twice a day and then doubled the dose until we got

to the full scoop twice a day, which was recommended by a doctor who treats

viral issues. It took a little over two weeks to get to full dose for him but

some could take much longer, depending on what's affecting them. He seems more

virally affected than fungal so he only had some spaciness and emotionality

during the adjustment phase. By week four, he was only showing improvement.

You can get info directly by e-mailing Dr. Kabara at the website. He's very

helpful.

Hi,

I know that whatever dose you give, you need to start slowly. My 30 pounder

only

takes 3 pellets a day. Jacquelyn McCandless recommended that he take 2 pellets

2x

a day. If I were you , I would call or email the company for dosage. 1.5

scoops (as

recommended by someone else) sounds like a lot, but maybe it's okay if you build

up

to it.

Good luck, Jill

My son weighs approx 60 pounds. I started at 2 pellets per day,

increased to 10, etc. Eventually he was on one scoop 2x per day.

He also needed OLE for anti-viral.

No matter how much Lauricidin he was given, it caused major nasty

yeast for him [this is AFTER he was chelated and no longer had

problems with yeast]. I had previously had great success treating

yeast with GSE, but the strain of yeast caused by Lauricidin required

both GSE and uva ursi with each dose of Lauricidin.

However, this combination was an effective anti-viral. I used it for

approx 7 months. Then I learned that protease enzymes will help strip

the virus' outer coating, allowing the anti-virals to be more

effective. I added Peptizyde enzyme, and the next day my son's virus

issue " broke " , and I have not had to use anti-virals since then.

I would give it daily for the two week break, see if you notice anything.

Yes, especially because for many kids [like mine], viral die off

causes yeast.

with one pellet 2 times a day and now are at 5 pellets 2 times a day.

I see much better co-operation, less anger and less arguments from

him. He also does not seem so hypo-glycemic. His ears arent red

anymore either.

Hi . I have 2 boys on Lauricidin. When I stop giving it to my

oldest son, he develops a rash on one elbow. Within days of

restarting Lauricidin, the rash disappears. With my younger son, I

have to be very careful, he gets a green runny nose when the up the

dose. It is a strong antiviral for my boys.

Lauricidin?

Yes, give it for the 2 weeks and see if he has any changes...then

decide if you should continue it during school once you see what is

going on by then. The probiotic would be a good idea to give too. It

would do different healing things than the anti-viral.

I use it for my kids. It works rather well as an anti-viral, altho I

do need to add olive leaf extract, so apparently it does not target

all viruses.

Viral die off causes NASTY yeast for my kids, so if you notice

problems, try adding yeast killers.

It tastes like soap, so I would not grind it up unless absolutely

necessary.
