Myrtle my brother- OT Last week my brother was weak, depressed, not eating and my SIL asked cancer care if they could go home for a few days as she had things to do. He had just had a bone marrow test to see if he was still in remission. They live a 2 1/2 hour drive from here. He was missing an appointment but they said it would be okay. They left Thursday and came back yesterday. He phoned me and I couldn't believe how strong his voice was , his attitude etc. Had his appointment to-day and he is still in remission but does have to have follow up chemo. I do believe in God but I am not an overly religious person. Last week a friend phoned and said her boss was a born again Christian and when she was telling her about Roy she said she would have all her friends pray for him. My other brothers neighbor said she was putting him on their prayer list at her church. Do I ever believe in the power of prayer. If you could see the change in a person in just five days time it is a miracle. This is someone who was not given much hope two months ago. He still has a long way to go but now we have hope.
