Guest guest
We have several physician offices that will not accept faxed documents. In our case it is the office managers who have told us that they get too many faxes already and any faxes received from a PT office will be tossed. Everything must be sent by mail. We have attempted to speak with the physicians about this but have gotten no where. Real professional! Just had an MD's office tell me they don't accept faxed treatment plans. No arguing with them about it, doctor just doesn't like it! Anyone run into this roadblock before! Seems rather silly to me. -- Ron Carson MHS, OTR/L Hope Therapy Services, LLC www.HopeTherapyServices.com

Guest guest
Ron, we have a list of physicians who do not like this. In my hospital setting we will courier the POC over to their office. In my husband's private practice he will mail or hand-deliver it to the physician. They appreciate it very much. Guest guest
In our cases it is because the faxes are unreadable.
