Guest guest
Wow small world. My father and step mother lived in Bloomingdale for a short time. I recognize the names of all of the towns. Of all of the places we have lived I liked Lanark which is about 20 min from here with only 1100 people and Forreston the best. We have 1500 people. Its great to just have the kids and one neighbor and the rest is corn fields or soy bean fields. Our youngest son lives next door and they have 6 horses, 2 rabbits, 1 house cat, one dog and NUMEROUS stray cats that stop by almost daily. So no need for us to have any pets. They have more than enough for all of us. Timmy has almost 6 acres and we have a little over 2. With Chucks possible MS and now diabetes Timmy does all the mowing and our granddaughter does all the rest that he can't get with a mower. Hugs nne. For college (undergraduate/graduate), I went to Illinois State in Bloomington/Normal in central Illinois. After living in Chicago a few years, I moved to Bloomingdale, which is about 20 miles west of Chicago. Bloomingdale is near and Villa Park, not far from where you lived. And, I know of Forreston. I didn't live there. But, my oldest brother almost moved to there in 1988. --Dana F.
