But if you are diabetic and neuropathy is an issue...you should have it checked out. Mindy > > I'm confused about this intense burning/stabbing pain in my left foot/toe. I found that when I had to have a rhizotomy that when the nerves grow back and they will, it will cause neuropathy. Also people with chronic back problems/pain can have neuropathy also. I had it even before the rhizotomy but it's worse now that I had the procedure. I wish I knew that before I permitted the procedure. I am really sorry for your pain. Do you have good medical insurance. I am on Lyrica and so is my husband (diabetes for 37 years) and it seems to help. It doesn't get rid of the pain completely but seems to dull the pain so one can go on with their daily responsiblilities. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe talk to your doctor. I am on my way now for a 'treatment', and hope it will help some. Cranial sacral therapy with a bit of PT and massage thrown in for good measure. She, the therapist thinks that perhaps my recent trouble with speech might be related to some treatment she gave me recently. Hope she can help. Praise God, we do have good medical insurance. It comes and goes, but it's very annoying. I don't know if it's the MS or not. I guess when I go to my Dr. appt. I'll ask him about it. Hope you fine relief soon.
