what my neuro said...Terri

Hey Mser's

Thanks for the replies today. I was gone for most of the day it took me 3 hours wandering thru famous footwear for shoes. I found a nice non-orthopedic looking comfortable shoes. I walked thru the store for almost an hour testing my walking.

Black almost flat leather loafers with silver accents to match my black pin-stripped dress slacks. I also have a silver chain bangled belt that completes the look according to my picky 18 year old & passes her inspection .. smile*

Doctor told my daughter over the phone when he called said "take an extra baclofen an hour before I need to walk during the graduation"

Most of all try to "control" your pace so your legs don't lock-up.

We shall see how it goes?

Many Hugs

Terri

My doc put me on baclofen 1 a day. I take it at night hoping it will

help with the cramping and spasms but so far not doing any good. Maybe

I should add a lithium and a glass a wine to help it work LOL.

Terri.Im glad you found some good shoes.I have alot of feet cramping and high

arches,I jus got a pair of crocs(the rubbery type shoes that alot of nurses

wear. They are very comfortable but dont have arch support, but its better with

the room cuz when my feet cramp it dosnt hurt as bad.Did you see anything with

arch support? I hope the extra Baclofen helps.I was using a walker everyday then

started the Baclofen and was able to go to a cane then had to use the walker

again, and my neuro up'd it to 60mg. Now I always use the cane except on bad

days.It really made a difference.Take care.k. Lots of luv,cassy
