Guest guest
I believe we attempted to join, but their requirements and reimbursement was not beneficial to us as PT providers. Not sure if they will require different parameters for you. Guest guest
Our experience with MedRisk was an absolute nightmare. I replied to this exact question last month as well. There Global Fee's were very low, reimbursement was difficult to get, customer service was horrible and we NEVER received referrals from them. We cancelled our contract as soon as we could. Our practice has not suffered in the least without being a provider for them. Guest guest
Unfortunately I have become a provider for Medrisk and they pay $65 per visit and on top of that they have a Diagnosis fee i.e. for Lumbar Strain they may allow $487 so it becomes approx 7 visits. If you see the patient more than 7 visits then you end up eating the cost. I can live with $65 per visit but the cap on #of visits is unhealthy as patients expect to be seen whatever their MD has on the Rx.
