Guest guest
I need help in determing if there is a way to appeal or get around the Medicare Part B structure that requires that when you bill Part B for PT services in the home that the patient's current (where PT provided) address matches the address associated with their Social Security / Medicare Home address. The current issue is that I have a current referral for a patient that has come to live temporarily with her daughter after hospitalization / surgery. Her legal home address is in Arizona and she is now in Georgia. I also have had another occurance of this during 2006 where I did not find out about the different address until afterwards. All of the claims were denied. Any help will be greatly appreciated by myself and the patient that is in need of my services. Thank you Brad Freemyer, PT A Step Ahead Physical Therapy, LLC brad@...
