Guest guest
Hello all, A hospital we work with is requesting that we ask our outpatients (each and every month) whether they have Black Lung Disease or if they have had a MVA that resulted in their need for therapy. For instance, if we start therapy on Feb 15 and are working with the patient 3x/wk and see them for 7 weeks (just an example)...then, we are required to ask this question on Feb 15, March 1, and on April 1. As an FYI, the facilities are not reregistering their patients monthly. They have stated that it is a requirement to ask this information monthly. Are there any regulations that anyone is aware of that would require such repeated questions of our patients? Any references to regulations that clarify this at all? Thank you for your help, Latz, PT, DPT, GCFP Florence, KY

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone.
