Guest guest
Are you telling us something Trista???? Look up Naltrexone and see if it can be taken when pregnant. If you are pregnant or thinking about it-- let me know. I might have a few other ideas for finding out if it's okay to take LDN when pregnant.hugs))Sharon "Happiness is not a destination. Guest guest
Trista~You do know, right, that Estridiol (might be spelling it wrong) which is produced by the body when pregnant, acts as an agent that puts the majority of women with MS into remission. There was a recent article about this in Neurology Today. Fascinating stuff! AND--despite the fact that I wasn't dx'd with MS til 12/05, EVERY time I have been pregnant (8 times--but have 5 children; miscarriages) anyways--I have never felt better physically, mentally and emotionally than when I've been prego. There is a story that there is a woman who has had either 11 or 12 kids--she has MS--and kept getting pregnant--in part to be in remission. You might say that is a bit selfish--but she also wanted kids! According to the article I read, they will be doing research on hormones as a possible treatment for MS...hugs...I had my first baby at age 29, and my last at 40.5! blessings, kate> I am NOT currently pregnant. lol. Guest guest
I remember with my last 2 pregnancies I told my Dr. that I felt so good that I'm thinking of staying pregnant. Who knew that it was the hormone? I sure hope this is something that they really pursue. I wonder what the side effects would be??? Morning sickness? Guess I could live with that.
