Guest guest
I work in a free standing outpatient clinic. We have several staff who are trained in the assessment and fabrication of foot orthotics for a variety of conditions. One of our staff is in the process of becoming BOC certified orthotist. Our current issue is with Medicare and their " qualified practitioner " regulations. Are any of you getting paid for foot orthotics through Medicare that are not diabetes related? Is anyone able to give an update on where we (APTA) are with effecting a change in this Medicare reg? Thanks!
