Guest guest
you can test by yourself if you have a guard applied were you apply the blood. this is like a bridge with a down dip in it for your finger. the downdip is v shaped and it takes a little practise to get it but you can do it by yourself. i am totally blind and i get it most of the time. practise with a sighted person for a bit then try by yourself. good luck. karen sugar testing > Hello everyone: > well, here i am with my biggest question so far. Guest guest
I have a acucheck voicemate meter with the comfort curved strips and I check my sugar at least twice a day. My doctor wants it done 4 times a day, but unfortunately I always space it. But I'm trying. It took me some practice, but I can do it without much problem. If I was as sure of God as I am about the ground beneath my feet, how often would I think of God? sugar testing > > >> Hello everyone: >> well, here i am with my biggest question so far. Guest guest
, What kind of meter do you have? There are acouple of talking ones out there. Is yours one of those? sugar testing Hello everyone: well, here i am with my biggest question so far. I would appreciate as much input from the group as possible. I test my sugar twice a day but I normally have someone sighted doing it for me. I am a totally blind person and what I would like to do is to be able to test it by myself when the person aisn't around, because I would like to be as independent as possible. How should I start or how should I go about this? thanks everyone very much for the help and feedback. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
" If I was as sure of God as I am about the ground beneath my feet, how often would I think of God? " This is an interesting signature. I have made some substitutions. " If I was as sure of my blood glucose level as I am about the ground beneath my feet, how often would I think of testing?
