I will be attending the World Health Care Congress in April, and I would love to

get the group's feedback on a few questions:

1. In general, how effective do you feel our profession is in influencing the

direction of health care? Do we stay in our microcosm of the world of PT, or do

you feel we are quite effective in influencing the bigger picture? If you feel

quite effective, I would love to hear stories. If you do not feel we are very

effective, what are your thoughts on how we can increase our influence?

2. See the list of 'Health Care Providers Thought Leaders' speaking at the

conference. If this is truly, as described, the 'most prestigious meeting of

chief and senior executives from all sectors of health care,' why do you think

PTs are absent from the list of 'Health Care Providers Thought Leaders?'
