Guest guest
Gas is just ridiculous in Illinois. It finally can down from $3.45 to $3.35. Last week they said on World News that Illinois had the highest gas prices of any state in the US. Lucky us :-( I know every time we shop things are going up up up. Its almost impossible to get the groceries that are needed :-( Hugs nne Breast Cancer Patients Soul Mates for Lifehttp://www.geocities.com/chucky5741/breastcancerpatients.html Anxiety Depression and Breast Cancerhttp://health.group.yahoo.com/group/AnxietyDepressionandBreastCancer Angel Feather Loomerwww.angelfeatherloomer.blogspot.com Check out my other ornaments atwww.geocities.com/chucky5741/bcornament.html The Cancer Clubwww.cancerclub.com Gas Prices? I was wondering if the gas prices are causing you any troubles? It seems like this year everthing is going up. It seems like everytime I get our finances in good shape something new gets added to it to mess it all up. The bad thing I don't see much relief in the near future. We traded in a van for a Ford Focus last summer and that has been a big help. My wife works in Indianapolis which is about a 40 mile drive one way. Our credit card gets a beating this year. Guest guest
We'd love to see $1 anything for regular unleaded gas. I think my husband would faint dead away!!!! People would be dancing in the streets and the lines would be so long for fear that it was a terrible joke!!! Our gas prices have gone up almost daily and I think the highest out there now is $3.20. My husband talks about it EVERY day, drives me nuts!!!! " The price of oil is this, and Bush and his oil tycoon buddies are making millions off of the American people, blah, blah, blah " God!!!! We own an old, beat up, hunk of junk, rust bucket of a Grand Voyager that he takes to work. I have a Toyota Camry that my Dad bought for me, he's a great Dad, even though he drives me nuts most of the time, lol. also owns a motorcycle that needs a new tire and an oil change and an inspection. If we could afford those three things, ($300) he'd be saving money on gas riding that!!!! Everything goes up but peoples salaries it seems. My hubby went 4 years without a contract and he works for the state of NY!!!! Finally got a contract in January, all retroactive, paid off some bills, of course, didn't take long for the money to be GONE!!! Now hubby has been working without a contract since April again!!! That's WITH a union. CRAZY!!!! Hugs, Peggy > > I was wondering if the gas prices are causing you any troubles? It seems like this year everthing is going up. Guest guest
Gas prices in the SF Bay Area were as high as $3.79 a gallon in May. I buy at Arco, which is usually selling the cheapest. Currently gas at Arco is about $3.41 a gallon. Despite the rise in gas prices and despite all the complaining, people aren't cutting back in their fuel consumption. A few weeks ago I heard on the radio that gas consumption actually increased over the past year. So, the oil companies don't yet have any motivation to cut prices. And, don't forget that in places like Europe, gas is almost $7 a gallon. --Mr. Dana F. Guest guest
Dana, I just read that the sale of SUVs has actually risen even with the price of gas. We are holding steady at 2.93 cents right now which is low compared to you and others on this site but I still wouldn’t want a big gas guzzler right now. Guest guest
Hi, Connie: I currently have a 2003 Toyota RAV 4, which averages 20-21 mpg. The mileage is OK and I like sitting up high so I can see around all the SUVs & trucks on the road. But, next year I plan to purchase a Corolla (or comparable) for better fuel economy. --Mr. Dana F. He has a good business and wish he would move it closer to Greenfield which is where Lynn lives.
