you can start seeing them as soon as you have sent in the packet but you

won't get paid until you get your number.

That's depressing. The application is already in and in this area I have

heard it may be 30-45 days to get the number. I hope it is no longer than

that. Baby needs a new pair of shoes.

Anybody else experiencing long delays in this process?

30-45 is very optimistic. It could easily be 60-90 days. Hope not for your

baby's feet sake.

Its going very slow right now at medicare becuase of the new NPI requirements.

I applied in August..still waiting. Does anyone know how far back I can

retrobill medicare?..I have heard 3 months and Ive heard 1 year..

Took me three months from the day we sent the form in to get the

provider number, that was 5 years ago. Best of luck!

The last time I checked was 3 years ago, but it was one year at that time. I

have a PT who has been waiting for her provider # since Aug as well.
