Guest guest Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 We are a 550-bed inpatient hospital, plus IP Rehab, Transitional Care unit, and SNF. Recently we have had a few therapists leave to practice in area nursing homes, etc., that pay more, and thus are looking again at our pay structure. Do you offer any of the following or other incentives that are helpful? 1) Increased pay for weekend work (shift differential)? 2) Increased pay for therapists who regularly " float " between departments? (all those mentioned above). 3) Increased pay structure for PRN therapists (who predominantly work weekends)? 4) Pool Therapists?? Thank you in advance for your feedback. Bettyann Shuert,PT Asst.
