Guest guest
, Now, my friend, you are talking! I am going to give this a shot tonight as the weather is rather chilly. On first reading I think that this would be much better if you microwaved the peppers beforehand for about 30 seconds and then follow the recipe. Jalapenos which have been cooked are much likely to set your mouth on fire... Now, another subbestion is that you could substitute Habanera peppers for the Jalapenos. Guest guest
, I have had goose but not smoked goose. So far as I can recall the goose was always baked or roasted. Way, way, way back when my Grandmother was alive she and my Grandfather did have and use a smokehouse. They mostly smoked ham, bacon and other parts of the pig as well as beef. I just do not recall ever seeing a goose in there. Now, I would really like to give smoking a goose a try. Should be really interesting as the blamed goose is quite greasy, but not nearly as greasy as an Opossum. (LOL) Somewhere I heard the recipe for Possum and sweet potatoes. Roast the possum and sweet potatoes together in a large covered pot. When the possum is done pick it out and throw it away, just eat the sweet potatoes. (LOL) Cy, the Ancient Okie... Guest guest
For sweet wine I just add a packet of stevia or a couple packets of splenda. Guest guest
, Oh my, it sure looks like I had better plan for some house guests because after the meal we are going to have no one will be able to function. (LOL) I have snagged a 30 pound turkey and a 18 pound ham for starters. Cy, the Ancient Okie... Re: PEPPERONI-JALAPENO MELTS Cy, As good as done. Guest guest
, this is a wild goose that I am talking about, and yes, it is delicious! Wild goose is all dark meat, and depending on how it is cooked, it can resemble beef! When smoked, with the right spices, it resembles a mild beef jerky! Guest guest
Cy, these are wild geese that I am talking about, and they have very little fat on them! They are lean, and all dark meat, very similar to lean beef! By the sounds of the crowd, I better bring a couple of extras!
