Guest guest
Yes, absolutely. We are happier, and who knows, we may live longer? According to who? Don't know. lol Vicki " Do not love the world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but they are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. Guest guest
If I have a major job of work to do, I drink lots of coffee in order to stay awake. It sometimes happens that I end up doing work for folks that could involve an 18 hour day and then I depend on the good old brew. Park " History will be kind to me for I intend to write it. Although there are arguments about this, my doc said not to worry about it; drink as much as I liked. I have. There have been some studies that showed that pure cafeine raised blood glucose levels. But some of these same studies (and others) showed that coffee actually had some benefits in moderation. Thus, my advice is this: as long as you don't add cream or real sugar, embibe away! Guest guest
Hi : I enjoy an iced Latte now and then but make sure that my favorite coffee shop uses sugar free flavoring in my drink. And, depending upon what I have consumed that day and my test results for the day, I either use Half and Half or two percent for the milk. Personally, I'm into unsweetened iced tea by the gallon that I brew myself. Becky and Cassidy, Pilot Dog, Poodle maddpoodle27@... coffee > Hello everyone, > got an interesting qs here for you all. Guest guest
Cy, Yeah I'd also vote for a study showing that pizza could help cut diabetes risks too, but I think there's not enough dough to fund that study darnit. As for coffee, I've been stickingto one cup a day unless I eat breakfast out, but gosh, if drinking another couple of cups will help the cause, I'm all for it. Cheers! Guest guest
Bill, Hmm, well, if we can study the sex life of a flea surly we could fund a study to show that the " pizza effect " is actually a good thing for Diabetics. The same study could also show that the low carb beer is also beneficial to the overall well being of all Diabetics... About all I can say is " Bring It On! " (LOL) Cy, the Ancient Okie.... Guest guest
Hi I also enjoy my coffee and heard not to drink too much due to narrowing the arteries and causing heart problems, but if it is better for one then I will surely keeping drinking my usual quantity a day.
