2007 MEDICARE FEE SCHEDULE

Has anyone seen the new Medicare Fee Schedule, printed 11-8-06? If I am not

mistaken, the 2007 amount allowed is considerably less than 2006, and the

new cap goes from $1740 to $1780.wow!!

With this lower fee schedule, we will see the patient for more visits than

before, before reaching the cap, not because of the $40 increase, but

because of the lesser payment amount.

I think it boils down to more work, less pay.

Do you notice the fee schedule being considerably lower or am I incorrect?

In response to your first message, ACN = American Chiropractor Network

In response to your second message, yes the fee schedule is set to go down 10%

unless we act NOW!!! Please visit the APTA website to find out what you can do

with our new legislators to get the fee schedule adjusted. The APTA is pushing

a huge phone in THIS WEEK to address this issue.

Please...please...please note also that the exception process is currently set

to expire 12/31/06. It has not been renewed....yet. Please encourage your

colleagues to make every effort to stomp for this as well.

Can you site the source? I got the same information from Rehab Regs with

a download site, but as usual with those files it states the file is

damaged and I get a blank document.

I got it off of the 2007 Medicare Fee Schedule located on the disc that they

sent recently and online at
