Guest guest
Trista~Do you think you could enlarge your font somewhat? Thanks.. IS This is a neuro who is recommending Ginko and Ginseng?--I think that is pretty cool. My neuro wants to put me on Aricept! My dad is on that for his Alzheimers! I don't want Aricept. I have 2 appointments coming up for a reevaluation by a neuropsych, as my cognitive/fatigue has increased significantly. The woman my neuro is sending me to this time sounds awesome! Her dissertation was on the effect of fatigue on cognition in patients with MS. Hey, could ya'll lift up a wee prayer for patience for me today--I have a neuro-opthamologist appt. at 10:30 this am. Was just rereading the packet of info--it says to plan on being there 2 to 3 hours!! This will be 'sandwiched' between 1 hr. of music class and 1/2 hr. of music classes with 3 and 4 yr olds today! Blessings and hugs to all~kate> LOL. Yeah, probably won't help me lose weight either. (rolling > my eyes) I'm so disgusted with my weight already. I had lost > 33 lbs. Was down to 210 after low carb. Guest guest
I KNOW how much Cymbalta has helped me with my leg pain. Let me put it this way: if it made me gain weight I wouldn't care because it's helped so much. I don't know if you remember when I was going through such severe nocturnal leg spasms and pain. I have a high pain tolerance and live with a lot of pain daily from my back and neck injuries. But the leg pain was something I had never experienced in my life and on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd have to give it a 12. When I would fall asleep I would dream of suicide and wake up crying. Now suicide is TOTALLY not something I would ever do based on my religion and because my nephew killed himself so I know what it does to the survivors. But I dreamed about it and cried over it way too many nights to count. I finally started the Cymbalta and within a few days it took the pain down by 50%. Relief! I could actually sleep most of the night. When I started 3 mg. LDN it took it down to about 10% of what it was. Now that I'm on 4.5 mg. I have just faint reminders of that pain. I had a nerve conduction test and I don't have anything wrong with my legs. The neuro said it's either coming from where the plaques are in my brain or from a hidden plaque in my spine. My advice (although no one asked me is to take Cymbalta. It's worth a try. I can't even imagine what my life would be like without it. hugs))Sharon Sharon...... . Sharon, did Cymbalta cause you to gain weight??? I'm not sure if Iwant to ask for Wellbutrin or Cymbalta. Don't be flakey. Get Yahoo! Mail for Mobile and always stay connected to friends. Guest guest
Cassy, I took the Ginkgo and Ginseng last night, and will see how it works for me. My Dr. is great in that he is an M.D., but also believes in the holistic approach. He prescribed Fish Oil for cholesterol instead of a prescription drug. Yeah, I hear ya on passing out. I just about stroked out yesterday on the scale. I've been avoiding weighing, because I KNEW I wasn't eating on plan. lol. Like as if what I didn't know can't hurt me. I stopped eating on my plan when I started feeling bad again. I can't exercise either. Most days I barely have enough energy to shower. I will let you know how I feel on these supplements. Hugs, Trista~~~~~~~~~~~And he said unto me, MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THEE;FOR MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS. Sharon.......Sharon, did Cymbalta cause you to gain weight??? I'm not sure if Iwant to ask for Wellbutrin or Cymbalta. ----------------------------------------------------------Don't be flakey. Get Yahoo! Mail for Mobile and always stay connected to friends. Guest guest
Kate, don't know how my font came out smaller, as I have it set for 18. The Dr. that recommended it is my pcp. He's awesome, and a cutie with an Oklahoma accent. Love it when he says, "yes ma'am". (wink) You are probably already at your appt. by the time I'm responding, but I said a prayer for ya anyways.
