How about a hunk of ham as well? (also low carb)

God bless you and do have a wonderful Thanksgiving....

Well, after the great breakfast let me tell you what happened.

Now, this is for real.

Crystal wanted all of us to get together this evening as goes

back to Germany tomorrow (Tuesday) so we thought a Thanksgiving snack was in

order.

Crystal and I took all nine of our extended family out to one of the Golden

Corrals for a really great buffet dinner.

I had BBQ ribs, meat loaf, roasted chicken, Filet Mignon, corn on the cob,

Brussels Sprouts, cauliflower, (so far very few carbs - well, there was only

1 ear of corn because they ran out of corn on the cob),

Broccoli, (see how good I did) - and - cherry cobbler, ice cream with

raspberry topping, pumpkin bread, carrot cake (let's not talk about carbs

any more (LOL))

And I did drink unsweetened tea.

Crystal chowed down on a couple of Filet Mignons, some roasted chicken, corn

on the cob, cauliflower and I have no idea what else.

We really did have a lot of the things the Virtual Feast featured and it was

truly great.

will have some memories to take back with him to Germany. He

will (we hope) be stationed stateside long about March. He just got released

from Iraq and we truly did have a lot to be thankful for.

Thanks for allowing my family to be part of the Canadian Thanksgiving and I

invite all of you to share our U.S. Thanksgiving in a little over a month.

Cy, the very, very full Ancient Okie....

Re: Festive Ribbon Brie

I just polished off two or three Italian sausages topped with sautéed onions

and peppers along with a salad of raw carrots and some pepper stuffed

olives. I am now sipping on a glass of cabernet. Later I am going to have

raspberry jello with whipped cream topping and a cup of black coffee.
