Guest guest
I have been using the ASTYM system for approximately a year and a half and my associate has been doing it for approximately 5 years and we have had hugh success with all sorts of problems from general tendonitis to chronic myofascial pain syndromes and tightness. To date is haven't found any cons to the treatment other than it can be a little uncomfortable. I have only had 2-3 patients in the entire time I have been doing this treatment that didn't not tolerate and we had to discontinue the ASTYM and go more conservative. We use is every day will a lot of success. Hope this helps. Gerad on PT, ATC Acucare Physical Therapy, Ltd. Guest guest
I have been using it for 4 years and I love it. I have used it just about every where. It is very successful. I can count on one hand how many people I have had to stop treatment on. Guest guest
I was exposed to SASTM which I understand is the newest generation of this concept. I bought the tools after I tried to use the Gua Sha version off of ebay and they did not work nearly as well (but better than the handle of my reflex hammer). At the conference they had all the versions you could test along side the SASTM and it was by far the best in my opinion. You can go to their website and there is a chart you can compare all three with links to each technique. Going to the course was very helpful. I like to use the Erchonia Low Level Cold Laser afterwards as I get significantly less bruising and redness http://wwwSASTM.com Sandi Pomeroy, PT Pomeroy Therapeutics, Dayton, Ohio mailto:spomeroy9@... wrote: >I have been using it for 4 years and I love it.
