I have vacation plans, and I have a PT willing to cover for me, but I am wondering how billing is done in such circumstances. Does it suffice for me to sign her notes when I return, then the billing is completed under my name as provider or is it necessary to have a provider number for her? (She is covering for me for a few days on a one time basis). Thanks, your input is appreciated so I can go on vacation in peace!
