Guest guest Posted June 30, 2006 Report Share Posted June 30, 2006 Dear Group, The folks that handle the chargemaster at our group of hospitals recently told us that we cannot bill for an occupational therapist doing an evaluation on a work comp patient using the codes 98771, 98772, etc. Apparently they are specifically for physical therapists. What do your OT's use to bill for an eval on a work comp patient, for example in a hand or work hardening clinic? Thanks, Loren Munson Director of Rehab munsonll@...
