NJ, NY & PA - Vulvodynia Study

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to let you know that Wood has finally began

there research study on Vulvodynia. This is the first National Study done on

this and will be taking place for at least the next year. Joan Hammond needs

to have at least 180 participants for this study. It is my understanding that

you will be needed to come to Rober Wood 9 time over a 9 month period. Prior

to this they do a complete physical that includes testing and then you begin

the study. The good thing is by doing this study everything is free. Blood

work, pap smear etc.... If you have intersts regarding this then you can

e-mail me directly. (srwild1@...).

It is also my understanding that you can still be under your physicians care

whoever is treating you for this condition. The only exception is that you

can not take Elevil. They make you fill out an extensive questioneer

regarding everything and then with the information you provide than they

determine if you would be appropriate for the study.
