I have it set up for new members to be moderated as we have had people coming in selling so called miracle cures, dating services, sex sites etc and we don't want any of that. I have ok'd you to post without being moderated. Please if you are selling anything etc. do not post as I will have to delete it and remove you from the group. Guest guest Posted February 24, 2004 Report Share Posted February 24, 2004 I'm sorry but I am going to step in here and make a comment. nne runs this group better than anyone else who is moderator of a group that I am aware of at this time. Of course you can say I don't know about all groups which is true but I know that nne runs this one with a lot of love and even if she is having a bad day herself, it never comes through here. Perhaps your remark (See below) was not meant to be ugly but it sounded as though you were being critical of her moderation. We have had too many people who have tried to post absolute porno and selling on this post and only new members are moderated. After you have posted and shown yourself to be interested in b.c. and not porno or selling, then you are no longer moderated. Finally, if you are at all familiar with Yahoo and some of the things that happen, then you should know that if she said she did not get your post, she did not. In fact, as co-moderator of this group, I also get all messages to be approved (I don't approve or disapprove unless she is unavailable because one person can handle this.) and I did not get your post either. I guess having someone assume before hand that I may be a spammer caused a painful emotional reaction. I am a member of other cancer groups and even had to fill out a questionaire to join one of them. I simply wanted to share my breast cancer experience and learn more about coping from others here. Seeing everyone's response to my post leaves me in a situation where I feel damned if I do or damned if I don't continue on here. Since I feel this uncomfortable I will leave.
