We use Now brand whole Psyllium Husks a 'generic product' company outof

Illinois...backed by Dr. Balch (prescription to nutritional healing fame)says

on the label...Fiber is not digested, thus has no caloric effect. I

like to add it to s cottage cheese and apple sauce...when I do itabsorbs

the liquid so I add more water and it bulks up the portion withouteffecting

the taste!!!! Colace should NOT be used on a regular basis...causes

damage to theliver, damage the bowels/intestinal wall and can cause dependency!! Other

things to add are digestive enzymes, acidophilis, magnesiumsupplements cyaBarb...bryans
