Reesah,

Welcome to the group. I had my chemo 13 1/2 yrs ago but had 6 mo of CMF. I

am sure there will be someone here taking the same chemo that might want to

share their experiences with you. You are in my prayers.

Hugs

Reesah, I think you will probably get a lot of responses from people

who would like to be your " chemo " pen pal. I can't be one of them

since I did not have chemo and am already 4 1/2 years " out of the

chute " as they say in rodeo language. If you do get a pen pal, you

will probably be plesantly surprised to find that you not only do

e-mail but snail mail also. In fact, I joined in 1999 and several of

the ladies who were here at that time and I have met and attended

races together. We have also visited at other places too. These

ladies will be lifetime friends for me because of our shared b.c.

diagnosis and also because we have found we have so much more in

common. I applaud you for reaching out; some people do not and I

think they are the losers in this because when you do not reach out,

you sometimes keep all of your fears, anxieties, and yes even your

little joys inside and it wears away at your resistance and ability to

fight even harder. Merry Christmas; I will keep you in my prayers.

Please continue to post. Doris
