HI!

I went out to visit my mom this morning. She will be having surgery on the

19th (next Wednesday). She is having a double mastectomy. She only needs a

single but wanted to have both taken care of. Unless there is any spread of

this, she will need no further treatments. She is moving from the

conv/rehab center to my sister's house tomorrow. She won't be moving back

to the coast which is 2-1/2 hours away. For now she is going to keep the

house so that family can spend some time at the coast if they want but will

probably sell it. It was on the market for a year before she bought it. I

made her promise to let me know when she needs help that I can give her.

Apparently at the dr office (surgeon actually) she was told that there was a

lot of little spots. BUT they are still of the opinion that it was caught

very early. She goes into the hospital on Monday the 17th and has surgery

on Wednesday the 19th. She will be released on the 20th and go bck to my

sister's house (actually it is HER house but my sister lives there - LONGGGG

story).

I so much appreciate all the support and prayers of everyone here.

hugs....judith (aka ladybug)
