Guest guest
, Everyone reacts differently. I just had a little bit of nausea. While you are on chemo its best to take each day at a time and not plan too far ahead. I know that will be hard for you but your health comes first. Listen to your body. Well, I started my chemo regimen (FAC) on Thursday. It pretty much knocked me flat for 2 1/2 days. I had flu-like symptoms ... achy, tired, queasy. I stayed on the anti-nausea drugs faithfully as directed by my oncologist. Fortunately, I felt much better by Sunday. We were able to go to a restaurant for lunch and then we took the kids to a playground. I just sat ... but it was great to be out. Today, I'm going to work ... at least for awhile. Is this the kind of reaction I need to expect for each of my treatments? Or, do they get better ... or worse? That's one of the hardest things for me to deal with ... lack of being able to plan! I am the consumate planner trying to learn how to "go with the flow". It's a difficult lesson.-
Guest guest
That is pretty much how I felt after each treatment for a few days, it seemed just as you got to feeling your best it was time for another treatment. Just remember it will be over soon. You dont think you will make it some days but you will. Take care. Jeana I started chemo > Hi everyone. Well, I started my chemo regimen (FAC) on Thursday.
