Guest guest
Hello Everyone: I hope everyone is doing well on this beautiful day. I can't believe it is winter it sure doesn't feel like it at least here in Michigan. That enough about the weather! I wanted to thank all of you for your support not only for me but for Ronda. The doctor was kind enough to give Ronda a break from treatment for six weeks. The cancer came back and surgery will need to be done but not yet. The cancer has gone from stage one to stage three. As you know Ronda has been fighting this monster since 2001 I don't mean to scare anyone who is new. Ronda was cancer free for three years and then it came back. She than had surgery in May 2003 and has been fighting this moster called cancer since. As you know we are ministers and our hardest time is Christmas I am sure Ronda told you this and her body was getting so tired and worn down that she asked for some time away from treatment. Today she started an advance treatment cycle and it was hard to watch her go through this again but we are fighting this monster and I don't want to see it win. Please keep Ronda in your prayers she is having a rough go around. They gave her a treatment today at the end of her spin why I don't know it is an advance chemotheraphy and I pray this will work. In fact I pray that this treatment works so well she will not have to have surgery. Ronda has to take 6 cycles of FEC and than they also are giving her three others which is a stronger chemo along with this also. I have to say I need your prayers that I can handle watching Ronda go through this advance treatment it is very hard to watch someone young fight so hard. Then to help her keep a positive attitude is really difficult as well. Right before she layed down to rest awhile she looked straight at me with tears going down her face and said maybe we should plan my funerial and please would you conduct it for me. I told her lets not think like that we are going to win this time. It made me start crying as well. She just got her hair back and I was told today by the doctor she will lose it by Wednesday if she is lucky. I haven't told her this yet and I don't know how I am going to either. Why is fight Cancer so hard? I haven't been on because Ronda has been doing well but now we are walking down a long road and I need your prayers and support. Thanks for listening! Prayers and Blessings coming your way,
Guest guest
Prayers coming your way for both of you and tell Ronda never to give up and hang in there so we never give the dragon his way that way. Take care, God Bless, Love, Sharon F. > You and Ronda both have my prayers. She needs to listen to her body and not over do. I know thats easier said than done. > I think sometimes its harder on the support people as they feel helpless and can't " fix " the cancer. > If there is anything I can do please let me know. My husband has started a support group for support persons. I can't remember if I mentioned this to you before or not. If you would like the url please let me know. > Hugs > nne > Breast Cancer Patients Soul Mates for Life > http://www.geocities.com/chucky5741/breastcancerpatients.html > > Check out my breast cancer ornaments at: > http://www.geocities.com/chucky5741/bcornament.html > also check out my other ornaments and lots of nice gifts at: > http://www.cancerclub.com > Prayers Please > > > Hello Everyone: > > I hope everyone is doing well on this beautiful day.
