Hi Barb,

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you- I just remembered your question about the Miralax.

I've got the bottle here in front of me, and it says Polyethylene 3350, NF Powder.

It's prescription only.

I hope this helps, and please forgive me for being so slow, it's been a hectic time around here.

Talk to you soon,

Kandy

View Graphic Version Notes:

Polyethylene is a flexible plastic. Plastic wrapping such as Saran wrap is made of polyethylene called low density polyethylene. It is also used for grocery bags. There is also high density polyethylene that is used in milk jugs. It has natural milky color. HDPE is also resistant to chemicals and also used to hold household chemicals. Bring in a HDPE jug for demo and show the recycling symbol. There is also polyethylene terephthalate or abbreviated PET or PETE which has the advantage that it gases such carbon monoxide are contained by it allowing it to be used to bottle soft drinks. Bring in a PETE soft drink bottle.
