Guest guest
Yesterday my doctor told me my biopsy results. She said it was thickend skin from excessive rubbing. I am assuming from my legs and yes I am overweight. As I type, I am on a diet. She prescribed Protopic & Pandel. My biopsy previously said I had precancer cells and I used Aldara for 3 months once a week. It really helped me. As long as I wear knit pants I am much better. I do not hurt as bad. Has anyone been diagnosed with " thickened skin " ? If so, what was prescribed to you?

It could be anyone of the following: Lichen sclerosus Squamous cell hyperplasia Primary irritant dermatitis Allergic dermatitis Seborrheic dermatitis Psoriasis Lichen planus Hidradenitis suppurativa Behçet's syndrome Some of them can be cured, some can be controlled. I would want to know which of these I had. Thickened skin is a symptom as far as I can see when I did a search on " thickened vulvar skin " . Steroids are used for many of them (creams).
