Guest guest
No, I personally have not had this nor have I ever had children. But, to me it doesn't sound right and I would go back and get a mammogram just to make sure everything is alright. Some times younger women get what they call fibrocystic and they come and go and that may be what happen with you. But, I would get it checked out at least it would but your mind and your husband mind at ease. Be open and tell your doctor everything so they can rule cancer out completely. You will be in my prayers and good luck.
Guest guest
Hello Everyone. About 8 weeks ago, my left breast was tender. As a previous breastfeeding mum (last session was 22 months ago +) it felt like something was perhaps blocked, only a bit more painful. So as any one who has breast fed before will understand, I decided to hand express my breast to see if any old milk or whatever would come out. Some clear sticky substance came out like silly string...i use the word silly string so you can identify with the texture of this stuff. I have had some clear discharge upon expression since. And some continued tenderness. 3 weeks after the first instance I went for my annual. Doc felt what she thought was a lump, but asked me to come back 7-10 days post period. I did, she couldn't find the lump. She said there is a ridge but she couldn't find the lump My breasts are rather big too if that's a factor in feeling lumps...don't know. Anyway. I neglected to tell her about the discharge or tenderness. Should I have told her? I assumed since she didn't find a lump it was no worries, but my hubby (A nurse) thinks I'm silly for not telling her about the discharge. Please let me know if anyone has had this happen...if I should reconnect with my doc for a mammogram or more intensive exam. Thank you soooo much. Guest guest
YES! Let your doctor know about the discharge. It may be nothing at all but finding out for sure is better than not. doris > Hello Everyone. About 8 weeks ago, my left breast was tender.
