Guest guest
Hi I have been investigating the ingredient content of varying strengths of Lamictal tablets in order to try and solve the problem of my daughter's increased seizures and possible relationship to weaning Lamictal. I wonder if I have found something significant here. Below are the figures I have found: Lamictal 200mg tablets 123.4 mg lactose 15mg Na starch glycolate Fat - 2.4mg magnesium stearate Lamictal 100mg tablets 99mg lactose 10mg Na starch glycolate Fat - 1.6mg magnesium stearate Lamical 25mg tablets 24.8 mg lactose 2.5 mg Na starch glycolate Fat - 0.4mg magnesium stearate My daughter was on 2 x 200mg tablets per day which means that she was having daily: 246.8mg lactose 30 mg Na starch glycolate Fat - 4.8 mg magnesium stearate Currently she is having 2 x 100mg tablets plus 6 x 25mg tablets which means that she is having daily: 346mg lactose 35mg Na starch glycolate Fat - 5.6mg magnesium stearate I was wondering whether these differences are significant and whether they could be a factor affecting seizure control. Any input appreciated. Many thanks Jill
