Guest guest
Well all----I had been using compounded estradiol (estrace) cream on my vulva and anal areas to repair the skin. It was helping but was taking a long time. I had found an old bottle of the cream so was giving it a try. Recently, I contacted College Pharmacy and spoke to Pete Huessman there. He is big on hormones for women. Anyway, he said to stop the estradiol and use Estriol instead. My doctor ordered it from him and I got it. Must say---it is making things go along much faster. No more burning after BM's and now when I go--I don't feel like it is a giant soda can trying to come thru!!! I think my skin had lost so much elasticity that it would not stretch anymore. I then got tiny cuts. That seems to be healing nicely. The front burns still but is better. I had used the estradiol cream for 2 months and things were going along but slow. Been using the estriol for 2 weeks and love it so far! Lynn
Guest guest
Lynn, I am glad to hear good news on your treatment:) I hope you continue to have results with your estriol cream. Estrace works great for me, but that just goes to show that what works for one may not work for another. It is great to hear possitive news from people on this group. Bunny /| |\ . . Guest guest
So the name of the cream that you like better than Estrace is Estriol? Is that correct? Thanks for the information. I've been using Estrace for a month and think that it's working, but would love to speed things up!!!! Susie

Estrone is the strongest, estradiol is the next and estriol is the weakest. Estriol cream has to be compounded though. There is no pre-made med by that name.
