Definately!!!! Mine usually suck - big time!!

Last year the girls in the office bought pizza on my bday. Well there

were 4 large pizza's from Pizza Hut. NOT ONE was one that I liked!

Can you beleive that? They all picked their favorites. I had to pick

crap off of them to eat them. It really pissed me off.

Luckily DH came up and brought me ice cream cake - he knows what I

like :)

Remember when you were young and had money (or your parents did) and

birthdays were a big deal? Adulthood is SOOOO different, at least for me.

After dropping at school, Marc and I went and paid the ministry of

transportation too much money for our licences and plate. Then we went to

Canadian Tire, where I bought myself a birthday present - 220 grit

sandpaper, " reveal " lightbulbs for my painting table, and a bottle of Tilex

for my bathroom! (yes, these things ARE very exciting, actually)

Then he went and rented me a movie for my birthday -- " A.I. "

He went to work, I got Kara's message, ERic came home. My best friend

called me in tears, sobbing, " Happ-pp-y Bbbbbirthday. " She had to go home

early from her visit to her dh on the ship because wouldn't stop and

her dh was an asshole about it.

was so tired he went to bed at 7pm -- and I FELL ASLEEP ON HIS BED! By

the time I woke up it was too late to watch the movie and I was too groggy

to do anything else, so I went to bed at 9pm.

Birthdays lose a certain something as you age, don't they?

Geez. Couldn't they at least try to figure it out? What do you like, by

the way, so that I won't make the same mistake on your birthday?
